We spent a weekend in the Alps near the Gross Glockner. Brilliant weather, ranging from sunshine to serious rain and very spooky mist. I brought my Leica M with Summilux 35 and the WATE (16-18-21 Wide-Angle-Tri-Elmar). And the Quenox M-Mount Makro Extension Ring.
So I combined landscape photography with makro-shots, where I have to go so close to my subjects, that the lens nearly touches them. The ants on the other photo saw me as a thread and instead of running away, very couragouesly attacked my camera. Similar shot with the spider and the moth – my lens was just not touching the spiders back.
